Apps — here referring to software for “smart” mobile computing devices, such as iPhones, Android phones and iPads — are currently being used by 24% of US Adults. Taken together, Facebook, YouTube and Apps touch millions of people every day. Facebook and YouTube are free to join and both have special programs for nonprofit organizations. Apps are free or very cheap to use. In this “plain English” one-hour webinar, we’ll use real-world examples to discuss how to develop strategies for utilizing the power of these social phenomena for internal and external communications, advancement, development, public information and recruitment.

Roberto Mighty has written and produced 65 half-hours of network affiliate and independent television, shot scores of nonprofit presentations and has over 100 videos on YouTube. He is Founder and Principal of Celestial Media, a Boston area company that specializes in web video production. Currently producing independent projects for Harvard University, he received his Master of Fine Arts in the Visual Arts from Lesley University and is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Visual and Media Arts and Emerson College, Boston.
